Honoring the Past.
Celebrating the Present.
Sustaining the Future of Beaver Island’s Irish Heritage.

Beaver Island, often called America’s Emerald Isle, has a story deeply rooted in Irish culture, resilience, and community. The Beaver Island Irish Heritage Group (BIIHG) exists to ensure those stories, traditions, and connections continue to thrive for generations to come.

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to presenting authentic and engaging educational and cultural experiences that recognize, showcase, and preserve Beaver Island’s unique Irish heritage, including its connection to Arranmore Island, County Donegal, Ireland.

How We Bring Our Mission To Life
